well, yet another fun day at the workplace. today, they showed me the different types of vegetables: onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, because of course i have NEVER seen any of those foods before. honestly. they even showed me what rice is.

so, i was driving on the interstate again today and there was a sign that said "road work: reduce speed ahead" and what do all the cars in front of me do? they go even faster. i stayed at my same speed but the cars in front of me went so fast that they were out of sight.

then, whilst i was driving on a divided highway, this one car was going s.......o................s........l..........o.........w.......... it was classic. 3 of the cars behind it changed lanes, then i changed lanes, then another car in front of me changed lanes and we all left the sucker behind. muhaha.

i drove to Springfield, MA today. takes about 1 hr and 10 mins going at a nice speed (76-78 mph). anyhow, let me tell you, it was a TRIP. the whole way driving there, 2 cars in front of me kept changing lanes. yes, 2 cars, not 1. i was getting really impatient. c'mon, make up your mind already! what is the big deal? don't change lanes back and forth for no reason. is this some kind of joke? because it is not funny at all.

also, in the book i had to read for school, "White Noise," the main character says how he likes to close his eyes while driving on the interstate. can you be more of an idiot? do you realize how dangerous that is?

an entry about my life for once

i started a new job last week. i am working as a hostess at a restaurant down the street. the woman who gave me a tour of the place was quite rude. she kept slamming doors in my face and she showed me the bathroom and was like, "here is the bathroom" and then she proceeded to show me the sinks and the toliets and turned the faucets on for good measure.

last year, i worked at an accounting firm as temporary help during tax season 2004. funness! but it is over now, unfortunately. i wish tax season lasted all year. i love it. who doesn't?

i need the money. i really do. i had to pay $500 out-of-pocket for scratching a woman's new Acura whilst i was parallel parking. newsflash: your new car is going to get scratches on it. deal with it. how pathetic.

my father's car is a piece. it only has like 2 cylinders. actually, it probably doesn't have any cylinders.
